Pain Management and
Root Canal Treatment
Your comfort is our priority. Our advanced endodontic treatments are designed to manage pain and preserve your natural teeth.
WHAT DOES AN Endodontist Do?
Endodontics focuses on the treatment of the soft tissue (nerve/pulp) inside the tooth. The word comes from Endo (inside) and Dontics (tooth).
An endodontist works with your general dentist to save teeth by performing root canal treatments. This procedure involves:
- Removing the infected nerve/pulp from inside the tooth.
- Cleaning, disinfecting, filling, and sealing the canal to eliminate bacteria and prevent reinfection.
- Using a dental dam (similar to a raincoat) to isolate the tooth, ensuring comfort and reducing microbial contamination.
Even without the nerve, a fully developed tooth can survive, as it continues to be nourished by surrounding tissues.
Our practice utilizes cutting-edge techniques and tools like dental operating microscopes and 3D imaging for precise diagnosis and treatment planning. These advancements enhance the success rate and provide a better experience for our patients.
