WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT:
Please note that your account has to be settled immediately after or before your appointment. We do give you everything you need to claim back from your medical aid afterwards.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment for administration purposes.
- Bring all relevant documentation if you are referred by another practitioner.
- To ensure the long-term success of your treatment, the oral hygiene appointments we recommend are obligatory.
- Our dental treatment is guaranteed for a certain period of time if all given aftercare instructions are followed. This usually includes wearing your bite plate, attending follow-up oral hygiene appointments and coming for annual checkups.
- If we find that aftercare instructions aren’t followed, you will be charged additionally for any work necessary.
Good dental hygiene is the key to oral health, and we are happy to assist you in achieving and maintaining this.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR FIRST VISIT:
During your first visit to our practice, you can expect to receive a warm welcome from our friendly staff. You will then be introduced to your Dental Professional, who will thoroughly examine your oral cavity. They will listen attentively to your main dental concern and provide you with advice and recommendations on any necessary treatment.
A full Panoramic X-ray will also be taken during your first dental visit to aid in this assessment. This will help our team to gain a comprehensive understanding of your dental health and identify any underlying issues that may require attention.
At our practice, we will:

Can I pay Via EFT or Card?
You can pay with both methods
HOWEVER....Please keep in mind that when you do an EFT payment, we will require immediate clearance and proof of payment before the consultation.
Patient Medical History Form
We need to have your medical history on hand so that we are aware of allergies, the medication you are taking or medical conditions you may have.
It will assist us in providing the best care, administering safe local anaesthesia, giving you pre-treatment antibiotics (if indicated) and taking into account the effect certain medications can have on your oral health and treatment.
What if I make an appointment with the wrong specialist?
We will direct you to the right person
If you are unsure which specialist to see, you can talk to us via our Whatsapp number and we will direct you to the right person. Even if you come to visit the dentist and need another specialist, we will help make the transition as smooth as possible.

Our fees are based on carefully researched rates recommended by the South African Dental Association (SADA rates). Our invoices are immediately available. The responsibility for the settlement of the account is that of the account holder. To make the settlement of your dental account more convenient, we offer several payment options:

How Dental Fees Work
Important notice to all patients on how dental fees work:
- Our treatment is based on your dental health needs and not on your medical aid coverage.
- It is important that you understand and consent to both the treatment plan and the estimated cost of treatment.
- It is your right to accept or decline our recommended treatment plan. If you reject or delay recommended treatment, you do so at your own risk.
- You are requested to sign acceptance of our treatment plan and cost estimate. If clinical conditions require a change in treatment, full details and costs will be provided before proceeding with modified treatment.
- All patients will be furnished with an account for services rendered. Please review and understand what treatment was provided.
- Patients are responsible for payment of accounts, including any portion not reimbursed by their medical aid scheme.
Know Your Medical Scheme Cover:
- Your medical aid cover is a contract between you and the medical scheme and not between the doctor and medical scheme.
- All medical schemes have different conditions, limits and benefit levels.
- We strongly advise patients to understand their medical scheme coverage.
- We do not accept responsibility for your medical scheme coverage and you remain responsible for payment of all accounts.
- Benefits provided by medical schemes are not “Medical Aid Rates” and dentists are not obliged to charge that fee.
